RIDING LESSONS AND TRAIL RIDES

$40—1/2 Hour Lead Line Lesson— Perfect for beginners-young to old to sit on the back of the horse and learn or regain confidence by instructor leading the horse in a safe and secure round pen or arena.

1 Hour Riding Lesson–Instruction personalized to the rider’s interests, abilities, and goals conducted in the round pen, arena or Indoor Barn*

$60–Riding Lesson with own horse

$80–Riding Lesson with a Rockin’ K horse

$100—Sunset Trail Ride–Meet at the barn at 6:00 p.m. (or two hours prior to sunset on the shorter days) Match rider with horse and tack, orientation ride in the round pen or arena, then about an hour trail ride to enjoy Wyoming’s beautiful sunset. 

 *Additional Indoor Barn Fee per Hour—$24

1/2 DAY Personalized Horse Experience

$225–-Meet at 8:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.  Match rider with horse and tack, groom (optional) orientation ride in the round pen or arena, then trail ride from Rockin’ K Riding Stable to enjoy Wyoming’s beautiful landscapes.

FULL DAY Personalized Horse Experience

$400–Meet at 8:00 a.m. Match rider with horse and tack, groom (optional) orientation ride in the round pen or arena, choose one of the three riding destinations below. Lunch options available.

1. Johnny Behind the Rocks is located outside of Lander, WY and takes about an hour to trailer horses there, the beautiful landscapes you will see are the Wind River Mountain Range, Rainbow Rocks and Johnny’s Falls which is an oasis in the desert. 

2. The Sinks and Popo Aggie Falls located outside of Lander WY, and takes about an hour to trailer horses there, you will be riding in the Wind River Mountains along trails with views of rivers, ridges, and meadows. Depending on which trail we decide to take, the Popo Aggie Falls can be seen.

3. Pinnacles behind Hudson is located between Riverton and Lander east of Hudson and takes about 45 minutes to trailer horses there, the terrain is moderately easy with more of Wyoming’s desert sage brush, a view of the Wind River Mountains, and the cool looking mushroom rocks. 

Note-Our group size is 1-3 riders with instructor. We offer a small group and personal touch that is easily adapted to the individuals.
